Zhengyu Zhong (b. 2000, China) works across installation, sculpture, painting, and moving image. Her practice often begins with bodily or material processes that slowly shift over time, focusing on unstable states where boundaries between inside and outside, beauty and discomfort, or value and contamination become unclear. Using materials such as pearls, raw silk, wax, and metal, she is interested in structures and meanings that emerge through accumulation, pressure, and gradual transformation.
